Justice is a Hater
December 7th, 2007
Today, was a great day. Chris got off work early and was able to come home and hang out with the family. When he arrive, he found Natasha hard at work on some new stockings for the kiddos. It’s been awhile since that sewing machine was cranked up and it sounded good!
Ester and Daddy had a lot of fun playing and making music. They took turns strumming the guitar and pounding on the drums. As always, Ester loved to show off her signature dance moves.

This was Justice’s response:
Despite Justice’s rudeness, the day was a blessed one. We’ll work on music appreciation tomorrow!

Ester continues to amaze us each day. On Sunday, we were packing up some boxes and Ester decided that she wanted to climb up the stairs. Now, these aren’t just any stairs. They are steep! But, with Natasha making sure she didn’t fall, Ester made it all the way to the top!
Ester continues to demonstrate her strong personality each day. Sometimes she decides that she doesn’t want to sleep and wails for an hour. Last night, we had our first big thunderstorm since she’s been here. At first, she cried, but then her curiosity took over and she sat on our bed watching the lightning flashes.
Ester is nothing if not curious. Her big eyes take in the world every second. She can find the tiniest speck of paper on the ground. Sometimes though she gets fixated on something: a computer keyboard, a cell phone, a glass and nothing will stop her from going after it. In other words, we have to watch her REALLY closely.
But, life is good here. We’re preparing to take Ester to Wichita with us. This will be her 5th place to live in the first year of her life. I can’t wait to settle down and allow her to get comfortable for good. Oh…Ester is up. Time to go!
